An IT Support Analyst is required for a 2 month contract for our client based near Leicester in the East Midlands . A salary of up to £20k (circa £11 per hour)
The successful candidate will have previous IT Helpdesk / IT Service Desk experience and will be responsible for providing end user 1 ^st line support to internal users.
Experience Required
Previous IT helpdesk / IT Service desk experience

Strong Windows / MS Office experience

Lotus Notes (highly desirable)
Any IT qualifications (such as MCP or MCDST) would be a distinctive advantage.

--- Duties ---

Responsible for end user support at the first level, dealing with queries mainly over the telephone and with electronic support tools.

Contributes to the smooth running of the support function, handing over tickets to escalation partners as necessary while at all times striving to achieve and maintain the agreed service level.

Continually search for and apply best practices to the process – suggest alternatives where possible, but should at all times work within the procedures given.

Manages and prioritises problem tickets (incidents) according to severity.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Analyst who is immediately available and based within commuting distance of Ashby De La Zouche and it is possible that this role could become permanent after the initial 2 month contract.
